Product details
Founded in 1877 in Fukushima Prefecture. Rooted in nearly 150 years of tradition, blends a deeply felt respect for local heritage with a forward-looking brewing philosophy. The name "Yumegokoro" (literally “dream heart”) reflects the founder’s vision, inspired by an auspicious dream. This particular expression is a Muroka Junmai, meaning it’s unfiltered by charcoal, allowing its natural color and depth to shine through, and is bottled with only one pasteurization—so-called binhiire—preserving the true aroma and character.
On the nose, exudes a subtle melon aroma, a hallmark of its gentle yet expressive profile. The taste reveals a harmonious balance of sweet and dry, creating a layered complexity that entices a second pour. The unfiltered, amber-hued body offers structural richness and umami character, while maintaining clarity and freshness on the palate.
Balanced texture and depth make it an ideal partner for a wide range of savory dishes. While it shines with grilled seafood or fresh sashimi, serving it warm reveals hidden aromas and adds new layers of complexity, allowing it to complement everything from delicate to richly flavored cuisine with elegance.
