The nose on this limited release seasonal unpasteurized brew is a cool collection of tangerine, honeydew, cotton candy, cream, and mineral aromas. This sake drinks like the bottle looks – can you see the very light blue hue? Light, crisp, tingly, and very lively, there is a great juiciness to this brew that is complimented by a quick finish. Talk about great summer sake! The effervescence makes "3 Grain Summer" very refreshing, and the balance makes it extremely drinkable. Look for mineral, pear, Fuji apple, grape, mango, papaya, sweet rice, cotton candy, and lots of citrus such as tangerine, lime, and blood orange flavors on a bright and fresh flow. "3 Grain Summer" is cool sake.
