Product details
Born from one of Japan’s most storied family operations—founded in the 1540s and now led by its 15th generation—the name evokes the legendary figures who aided a pivotal 16th-century victory near its hometown in Kinomoto, Shiga. Crafted with intention and deep respect for its roots, this creation uses locally grown Tamazakae rice and pristine water drawn from an ancient well on the original site. The result is a balanced and resolute offering, where earth-forward aromas meet a lively core of grapefruit and melon, all supported by a clean, precise structure and a crisp, refreshing conclusion.
On the palate, the experience opens with warm earthy and dried-mushroom tones, transitions into creamy and viscous textures, and blossoms with bright citrus-like grapefruit before concluding in a brisk, clean manner. A harmonious match with nut-rich cheeses or savory dishes, it also stands beautifully alongside hearty, robust fare that echoes its own grounded complexity.
