Product details
Aramasa No.6 × Nicolas Buffe NO.6 Dix and Noel is a commemorative limited edition created for the tenth anniversary of Aramasa’s No.6 collection. This special release brings together the Japanese producer’s distinctive craftsmanship and the imaginative visual storytelling of French contemporary artist Nicolas Buffe. Inspired by the Akita Peninsula’s traditional legend of the 999-step staircase, the artwork incorporates Namahage folklore and Christmas imagery in a striking Gothic design featuring deep red and black tones. The bottle’s presentation combines elements of European classical art with Japanese pop culture, giving this anniversary release a distinctive artistic identity. Its carefully developed production process includes maturation in domestically produced oak barrels followed by secondary fermentation in the bottle, reflecting the experimental character of the No.6 series.
The flavor profile is described as full-bodied, with notes of pear and citrus balanced by moderate sweetness and a refreshing finish. Its cloudy appearance and smooth texture are complemented by a subtle bitterness, creating a layered taste experience. The balance and overall expression may vary with serving temperature and storage conditions. No specific food pairings were provided.
