Rémy Martin Louis XIII Black Pearl Tribute to the Birthplace is an exceptionally limited Louis XIII creation inspired by Le Grollet, the historic birthplace deeply connected with the heritage of the House’s iconic expression. To capture the character associated with this place, Baptiste Loiseau selected a rare eau-de-vie from the House’s collection of demijohns identified with the imprint of Le Grollet, then married it in a single tierçon to create a blend shaped by its distinctive sense of place and history. It has a cooling cellar packing designed to provide a cellar-temperature experience, while the blend itself comes from a different cellar within the Louis XIII collection. Rarer than previous editions, only 398 bottles were made worldwide. The creation is presented in an iridescent Louis XIII decanter with midnight-blue reflections and a palladium decanter neck, evoking the mystery, depth, and darkness associated with its historic birthplace.
