Developed by Master Blender Michael Henry in collaboration with Austrian photographer Stefan Sappert, this limited anniversary edition brings together heritage, craftsmanship, and artistic vision. Drawing on the oldest and rarest remaining reserves, the 45-year-old release receives a final six-month finish in first-fill Oloroso sherry hogsheads, adding another layer of refinement to its carefully developed character. The presentation is equally distinctive, featuring a handblown crystal decanter crafted by Glencairn artisans, with delicate cuts inspired by the aperture of a traditional camera lens. Each decanter is individually unique, making this Littlemill anniversary release a remarkable tribute to generations of skilled craftsmen and the preservation of rare traditions.

The tasting profile opens with floral elderflower and chamomile, complemented by grapefruit and lemon zest, followed by richer notes of toffee, marzipan, almond, and vanilla. The palate reveals a silky texture with crème caramel and vanilla syrup, balanced by crisp green apple, pear, and lime, alongside gentle cinnamon and nutmeg spice. The finish is long and expressive, bringing forward refreshing green fruit, dry oak tannins, and warming notes of ginger and cinnamon.
