Product details
Brewed in Wakayama Prefecture by Nate Shuzoten, Kuroushi Hiougi represents the pinnacle of refined artistry. Named after the legendary “black bull” stone near the producer’s home, it is crafted from Yamadanishiki rice and nurtured with exceptionally soft water from a nearby shrine well. The result is an expression that combines meticulous care with natural purity, offering a smooth, velvety presence that embodies both elegance and depth.
The profile unfolds with warm aromas of tropical fruits such as melon, pear, and peach, lifted by gentle sweetness and vibrant acidity. On the palate, a silken texture reveals layers of refined umami, creating a delicate yet memorable balance between fruitiness, acidity, and richness. The finish is crisp and graceful, leaving a lasting impression. Best enjoyed chilled to highlight its fresh vibrancy, it pairs beautifully with dashi-based dishes, delicate white fish, or simply prepared seasonal seafood.
