This mixing of old and new gives us a vivid sake with pleasant caramel apple on the nose and a pure, mineral texture that can only be described as fully satisfying. Expect light flavors of candied peach and apricot that fade into a fulfilling finish.
The nose on this very clean and elegant sake with added plum extract is a gentle collection of honey, sweet bread, plum, pomegranate, raisin, apple pie, leather, and white flower aromas.
Lovely aromas of fresh tropical mangos and yellow peaches jump out of the glass. This nigori is full-bodied and creamy in the mouth with well-balanced sweetness and long-lasting flavors of mango and peach.
Early nosings detect notes of dill and black pepper. On the palate Cazadores is nimble and off-dry at entry, then by midpalate the flavor resembles cocoa bean and asparagus. Finish is clean, light and off-dry.
