The 2021 Chardonnay Lazy Lounging is a crisp, cool offering, loaded with gently grilled citrus and pineapple notes. It's medium to full-bodied, crisp, mouthwatering and long. It's not as broad or generous as the 2020 but longer and perhaps more elegant.
Second Flight offers up floral, blue and black fruit, mocha and white chocolate characteristics. It possesses full-bodied, silky flavors, and a finish that lasts 50+ seconds. It can be enjoyed now, but should evolve effortlessly for 12-15+ years.

A totally voluptuous wine, the 2009 flows across the palate with layers of dark fruit. Stylistically, the M. Etain is very close to the Scarecrow Cabernet in this vintage, although it has less aromatic complexity and depth.
Tight and firm, with a chewy edge to the dried currant, graphite, blackberry and mineral notes. Full-bodied and intense, without being weighty, this is well-structured with a complex, persistent finish.
Dark plums, black cherries, licorice, tar and smoke all take shape as the 2006 opens up in the glass. Overall, this is a supple Opus One with good complexity but less of the personality of the best wines of the year.
