Expressive and lively on the nose, the 2019 Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a black cherry and huckleberry aroma laced with dry floral notes. Integrated oak adds a light note of sweet nutmeg to this wine.
Winery Notes- Deep ruby in color with an expressive nose of raspberry, black cherry, cinnamon and rose petal. Mouth-coating flavors of strawberry, black currant, and dried herb coat the mouth leading to an expansive, juicy red-fruit finish.
Deep colour holds well to a ruby-red rim. Aromas are initially closed with notes of cedar & meat dominating the fruit. On the palate coffee & cedar notes overlay blackcurrant & bitter liquorice flavours.
From a cooler vintage that saw significant heat spikes later in the year, it has incredible purity in its cassis and darker fruits as well as leafy tobacco, flowers, and background oak.
