Merryvale Vineyards Profile Napa Valley Red Bordeaux Blend 2019 is the estate’s flagship expression, crafted exclusively from the hillside Profile Estate Vineyard in Conn Valley. For over 30 years, the Schlatter family has dedicated themselves to producing wines of precision, elegance, and longevity. This 2019 vintage is composed of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Cabernet Franc, blended from the finest lots selected across 25 sloped, rocky acres of varying soils, elevations, and microclimates. Winemaking follows traditional Bordeaux methods: after a five-day cold soak, wild yeast fermentation reached 90°F before an extended maceration of 15–21 days. The wine was then racked to 80% new French oak barrels for 23 months, where it underwent spontaneous malolactic fermentation before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. The 2019 growing season—marked by abundant early rainfall, a warm, steady summer, and a long, mild finish—yielded fruit of exceptional freshness, vivid color, and refined structure.
