Product details
The 2021 Forman Cabernet Sauvignon is a masterful expression of Bordeaux varieties, showcasing outstanding clarity and complexity. Its color is bright and clear, edged with a pretty garnet hue. The nose is beautifully perfumed with vibrant black fruit, subtle smoked jalapeño spice, and delicate violet aromas, creating an enticing aromatic profile. This blend consists of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot, and 4% Petite Verdot, meticulously aged for 22 months in 70% new Bordeaux barrels and 30% once-used barrels, which impart refined structure and depth.
On the palate, this polished, silky wine is sleek and well-balanced, offering deep, classy flavors that build beautifully with time in the glass. Though vibrant and expressive now, it remains youthful and promises further evolution with age. Antonio Galloni describes it as “exceptionally well-tuned,” revealing layers of dark fruit, fine tannins, and nuanced spice underpinned by seamless oak influence. Serve slightly chilled in a large Bordeaux glass, and pair it with herb-crusted lamb, grilled ribeye, or rich mushroom risotto to complement its vibrant complexity and refined elegance.
