Echo de Lynch-Bages has a brilliant colour and displays lovely purplish-blue garnet hues. Attractive savoury aromas on the nose, transpose into a rich and elegant palate of fresh red fruits (redcurrant and raspberry).
Deep garnet-purple in color, it hits the ground running with bold, expressive notes of warm cassis, boysenberries, and black cherries, with an undercurrent of clove oil, fertile loam, cedar chest, and tar. Medium to full-bodied.
With 12 years minimum ageing in the cellars, this special bottling of Rosé demonstrates the ageing potential of a Rosé Champagne. To obtain the bright radiance of the chalky soils, the Chardonnays are selected from various crus in places.
Aromas of fresh raspberries with some lemon peel and fresh herbs follow through to a full to medium body. Fresh herbs and graphite highlight the wine. Chewy finish. Needs time to soften. Better after 2022.
