Peerless Double Oak Bourbon whiskey is aged a minimum of 4 years in the first barrel. Exposing this Bourbon to two separate casks allows for two full barrel extractions. The nose opens with sweet oak accented with orange zest and cedar.
An opening cherry note gives way to light molasses, orange zest and green apple deeper in the glass. Water addition brings oak and soft leather to the forefront.
This drink is made from select American rye grain that is sheared to maximize the extraction of flavor from the grain. Ideal neat or in cocktails. Nut, mocha, and leather dominate the palate and nose. Begins light and semi-sweet, then turns drier.
