The Ozeki Hana Awa Ka Peach is named the ‘Sparkling Empress’ due to its refreshing, light and bubbly taste. It has a sweet and peachy flavour, which makes it excellent as an aperitif and dessert sake.
This charming sake is delightful both cold and at room temperature, making it a crowd-pleaser. It pairs well with light and salty dishes, such as seafood and grilled vegetables.
This sake is stored in cedar barrels made in house at Kikumasamune, using cedar from sustainably maintained Yoshinosugi area. The flavor is a bit smokey with umami in the front and some lingering spiciness in the back.
Senkin “Snowman” Nigori is a surprisingly light, sparkling nigori belonging to the highest grade of premium sake called junmai daiginjo. Staying true to the brand, it uses rice grown in the immediate vicinity of the brewery with minimal processing.
Suigei Brewing produces several Junmai Daiginjo sakes, each with its own character; then combines them to create this entirely unique Junmai Daiginjo that is both aromatic and crisp.
