Mutsu Otokoyama is a brand much loved by the people in Hachinohe, and now you can enjoy it too. There were once many Otokoyama sake breweries, but the one in Mutsu was the first to be certified, and “Chokara” is one of their originals.

This special Kanagawa prefecture Kimoto sake has a reserved and understated aroma, with light delicate flavors. It is delicious slightly warm, and perfect for enhancing rich flavors and cutting through oil.
This is an official collaboration between the hit anime and manga series “Attack on Titan,” and Japanese sake brand Daina. The third in the series, this brew features Captain Levi.

As reflected by its white label, this is a seasonal winter specialty so you have to grab it while you can. Hakkaisan Shiboritate is bottled straight from the press which gives it a wonderful, velvety viscosity.
“Hitotsubi” has a medium intensity aroma and texture with some light weight. Initial flavors of banana bran, like the top of a muffin, gives way to some umami and dried fruit notes.
Vintage Junmai Sake. This sake is brewed in 2013, has been matured at low temperature in bottle. The rich flavor and characteristic of Omachi is enhanced through a slow maturation process.
This Genshu - i.e. an undiluted Shochu - has a mellow and sweet taste despite it's high alcohol content. Contains all natural ingredients and no additives.

This Junmai Daiginjo is made from Bizen Omachi rice polished to 48%. When poured into a glass, it has a charming aroma reminiscent of cherries, which alone raises our expectations.
The label sports two rabbits which represent the two opposing flavors that find harmony in this sake. Made with the intent to be competitive across the world, “Yamadanishiki 65” has one of the fullest textures of all the brewery’s lineup.
