This delicious sake is made from Japanese Yamada Nishiki rice and local spring water in Hyde Park, New York. The rice is polished down to 50%, resulting in a precise, elegant, and delicious dry sake.
The word “gold” in the name is in there for good reason. This brew won gold in the daiginjo class at The Fine Sake Awards Japan 2019 and gold in the Yamadanishiki class at Kuramaster 2020.

This beautiful Junmai Daiginjo is aged for a minimum of 3 years in Hakkai Brewery’s snow-storage room, called the Yukimuro. The flavor is initially subdued, before it unfolds the rich and solid sake that it is.
A limited sake the opens up the most during the Fall season, when the moon is most beautiful. The reason behind the name "Tokugetsu" (Special Moon) is because the rice, when polished down to 28%, it shines like the moon in a dark sky.
