Yaegaki Cloud Nigori offers a uniquely refreshing and creamy texture, distinguishing it from other nigori sakes. Its lightly sweet flavor is pleasantly balanced, making it an ideal pairing for dishes with robust or spicy flavors.
The nose is fine, very elegant, complex and aromatic. It reveals notes of melon, apple, white flowers and vine flowers. The palate is elegant, pure, delicate and complex.
Nigori saké, like Momokawa Organic Nigori, is coarsely filtered, leaving flavorful and aromatic sediments in the drink, resulting in a creamy and cloudy texture.
The name translates to “Ode,” in reference to ancient Grecian hymns sung in celebration of heroes. This sake is truly epic. Using a free-drip “shizuku” method to capture the clarity and fragrance of the top-grade Yamadanishiki rice.
