Product details
Nestled atop the slopes just above the town of Meursault in Burgundy’s famed Côte de Beaune, the “Les Grands Charrons” parcel offers a luminous expression of place and care. Over 35 years old and reach upward of 250 meters in elevation. Cultivated with organic principles, the fruit is coaxed to clarity using indigenous yeast and a gentle micro-batch approach—after pressing, the expression is given a thoughtful 10 months of refinement in larger 456-liter barrels (30% new) followed by 8 months in stainless steel tanks. This method preserves a subtle purity, while allowing the vineyard’s natural brightness and mineral framework to shine through.
The offering unfolds with a silky texture and rich harmony: ripe orchard fruit and tropical accents move into a lingering, mineral-tinged finish that feels both graceful and balanced. It makes an elegant companion to rich seafood preparations or creamy fish dishes; it also holds up beautifully to mild, soft cheeses.
