Product details
Louis Jadot Héritiers Beaune Boucherottes Premier Cru 2013 reflects the distinctive character of one of Beaune’s notable vineyard sites in Burgundy, France. Located at the southern end of the Beaune appellation, Les Boucherottes lies near the Pommard boundary, between several well-known neighboring vineyards along the lower slope. Its deep clay soils contribute richness and a generous texture to the character of the fruit. For this Premier Cru selection, the grapes are destemmed and macerated in open vats for approximately four weeks, allowing the qualities of the vineyard to develop throughout the process. The resulting selection is then aged in oak barrels for 18 months, bringing structure and integration to this expression of Louis Jadot’s Burgundy heritage.
The 2013 Beaune Boucherottes Premier Cru reflects the richness associated with its clay-rich growing site, supported by the structure developed during extended maceration and oak maturation. Its overall character is shaped by the fruit and the vineyard’s distinctive terroir, offering a representative expression of Beaune Premier Cru. This selection can accompany roasted salmon, roasted chicken, grilled beef, lamb chops, osso buco, traditional beef stew, duck, or other hearty savory dishes.
