Huadu is known as the “Little Moutai in the Northern China”, and there is a good story with Moutai. In the early days, Huadu Distillery was famous for its light aroma liquor. With the assistance of Moutai Group across two eras, Huadu Distillery has achieved remarkable results in the field of sauce aroma liquor and has become a model of the northern style of sauce.
Beijing Hua Du distillery was established in 1976. It started making the widely popular baijiu (white liquor) Er Guo Tou with focus on quality and value. Hua Du was the first state-owned distillery in Beijing, built on April 19, 1949. It is the only enterprise in Beijing area that has the production capacity of three kinds of flavor liquors: sauce aroma, strong aroma and light aroma. In November 2015, it officially became a subsidiary of Beijing Ershang Group Co. Ltd. and Beijing Sugar Industry Tobacco and Alcohol Group Co.,Ltd.
