Guizhou Xijiu is a liquor brand of Kweichow Moutai (Maotai) Distillery (Group) Xijiu Co., Ltd. It was merged into Moutai (Maotai) Group in 1998 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Moutai (Maotai) Group. Established in 1952, Xijiu has always adhered to the essence of traditional Chinese liquor, adhered to the solid-state fermentation process of pure grains. In 1988, it won the “National Quality Award”, in 2011 it won the “Top Ten Famous Wines in Guizhou”, and in 2014 it was recognized as “National Geographical Indication Protection Product”.
