GuoJiao 1573 Spirit of China is the greatest representative of Chinese traditional culture and craftsmanship, which have been passed on over centuries. It is a commemorative baijiu specially made in honor of GuoJiao 1573, which is included in the UN preliminary list as the world’s tangible cultural heritage and the traditional brewing craftsmanship of Luzhou Laojiao liquor as the world’s intangible heritage.

Fermented in National Treasure Cellars built in 1573 and limited cellars that are at least 100 years old with the traditional brewing technique of Luzhou Laojiao, all distillates of Spirit of China must have aged for 10 years to decades in a natural cave. It’s incredibly smooth, pure, elegant, and lingering, and no doubt the highest level of Chinese cultural heritage.

国窖中国品味是中国文化遗产与中国非物质文化遗产双遗产代表作。为纪念1573国宝窖池群、泸州老窖酒传统酿制技艺入选 “全国重点文物保护单位(1996年)”及 “国家级非物质文化遗产名录(2006年)” 特别酿制。源于建造于明朝万历年间(即公元1573年)的“国宝窖池群”,采用泸州老窖酒传统酿制技艺手工酿造。由在天然藏酒洞中洞藏十年和几十年的高年份酒调配而成。酒体具有“柔、纯、雅”的特点,口感柔顺、绵甜,纯净无杂质,是中国酒文化的高雅载体。

Guojiao 1573 originates from the 1573 national treasure cellar group used by Luzhou Laojiao since the Ming Dynasty (1573 AD), making it a unique liquor brewed from living historical artifacts in China. The water used in the brewing of Guojiao 1573 is sourced from the Longquan well at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain. It is crystal clear, slightly sweet, weakly acidic, and has suitable hardness, making it an excellent brewing water. Guojiao 1573 selects pure natural organic grains—glutinous red sorghum only produced in southern Sichuan's Luzhou—as the brewing grains. This type of glutinous red sorghum is particularly conducive to gelatinization and fermentation, ensuring the rich and mellow taste of Guojiao 1573.

40ml Baijiu Guojiao, 20ml Mandarin Liqueur BVLand, 20ml Mandarin Juice, 20ml Egg White, 100ml Ice

Jiaolong Dragon is a moreish shaojiu robust cocktail at 1.9 standard drinks. Shaken with 40ml baijiu Guojiao and 20ml Mandarin Liqueur BVland with 20ml mandarin juice as well as 20ml egg white including 100ml ice and best with lunch. Just place ice into the shaker then add all ingredients to the shaker and shake well. Rest and shake again, then serve in a glass cold.
