Product details
Denshin Fuyu Winter Honjozo is a seasonal release from the Denshin series, presented fresh after pressing to preserve its lively character and refreshing aroma. It is made from Denshin Tsuchi, the series’ annual first production, and released immediately after pressing as an unpasteurized expression. This approach highlights the freshness of the newly pressed product, with a style that reflects the brewery’s focus on capturing its original aromatic qualities and vibrant character. Created for the winter season, Denshin Fuyu offers a distinctive expression of the Denshin range.
Denshin Fuyu opens with a fragrant citrus note reminiscent of orange, layered with a gentle, muscat-like sweetness. A brief touch of sweetness on the palate gives way to a brisk, clean finish that refreshes the mouth. Its lively character complements dishes and sauces that combine richness with freshness, including sesame dressing, ginger pork, and roast beef served with plenty of horseradish. It also pairs well with fried oysters, crab cream croquettes, and delicate white-fleshed fish such as red sea bream sashimi.
