Product details
This offering arises from the vibrant coastal region of southern Italy, where the estate of Tormaresca rests along the Adriatic shore in Puglia. The vision behind the house, driven by the renowned Antinori family, is to champion indigenous grape varieties and bring renewed prestige to the Salento peninsula’s vineyards. The vines are located within the property of Masseria Maìme in the Upper Salento region, stretching toward the sea, where the Mediterranean air and coastal soils impart unique character. For this release, the grapes are treated with gentle care—picked, softly pressed, and kept in stainless steel to preserve freshness—resulting in a pale, elegant hue and a refined expression of place.
On the nose, vibrant aromas of pink grapefruit and pineapple mingle with white peach and subtle floral touches of jasmine and rose petals, creating a welcoming bouquet. The palate opens with bright, refreshing acidity, then unfolds into richly aromatic layers that persist with graceful ease. A delicate savory thread winds through the finish, gently anchoring the fruit-driven core while lending complexity and depth. The result is a beautifully poised expression—fresh yet substantial, lively yet refined—evoking sunlit vineyards, sea breezes and the warm Italian coast.
