Umenoyado’s new product in the Umeshu lineup, Green Tea Umeshu. Yamato green tea and Yoshino plum both produced in Nara were used and it was made with their original Japanese Sake.
This is the top quality Jozen Mizunogotoshi, using only the pure center of the rice grain. It is brewed with great care, and fermented longer period at a lower temperature to enhance the beautiful elegant aroma with a rich and pleasant taste.
Origarami is an extremely rare style where fine rice particles are left in the sake, leaving it hazy, with a silken texture and subtle sweetness. Not to be confused with nigori, where rice solids are left suspended in the bottle.
The palest shade of straw possible in the glass, the nose of this sake has rich aromas of pear, rose blossoms, and subtle spice. A very clean, balanced palate follows, with flavors of sweet rice, white grape, and ripe pineapple. Smooth and elegant.
Its smooth taste and alcohol content have a feeling of volume giving it a special depth. Its astringent acidity stays for a long time, making a dignified, elegant impression. It is a highly mature Japanese sake with a depth that is full of flavor.
