This sake is assertive as a shogun. A golden appearance is complemented by aromas of creamy pecans and caramel. The sake is slightly tart, with notes of cedar that reminded us of taruzake, but feels surprisingly light in finish most likely due to the fact that it's only 14% alcohol. Yamazaki-san says that this sake pairs well with Asian cuisines.
