Product details
Lagavulin 9 Yr Game of Thrones House Lannister Single Malt Scotch is a limited-edition release created as part of the official Game of Thrones Single Malts Collection, pairing the historic Lagavulin name with House Lannister and its golden lion emblem. Produced at the long-established Lagavulin site on the south shore of Islay, this expression was matured exclusively in first-fill ex-bourbon American oak casks, giving it a brighter and more vibrant character than the deeper profile associated with the classic Lagavulin 16 Year Old. The golden presentation and House Lannister design reinforce the connection to the collection, making this release a distinctive choice for Game of Thrones fans and collectors of limited-edition Scotch.
The nose presents an intense sweet-smoke character with maritime brine, caramel, milk chocolate, graham cracker, orchard fruit, and stone fruit, followed by dark roasted coffee bean notes as it opens. On the palate, pronounced peat smoke and iodine lead into caramelized banana, burnt marshmallow, vanilla, milk chocolate, graham cracker, dark roasted coffee, and baked banana. The finish is dry, refined, and lingering, with menthol, salted caramel, peat smoke, and warming spice gradually fading.
