It is made from Guizhou’s specialty red glutinous sorghum, wheat, and water from the Chishui River, following the traditional "12987" process (two rounds of grain input, nine times steaming, eight fermentations, and seven distillations), and aged for five years in clay jars, giving the liquor its unique sauce aroma flavor.

The liquor is pale yellow and clear in appearance, with a smooth and mellow entry, full-bodied and rich, with prominent sauce aroma and a long-lasting finish. The history of Guizhou Guijiu can be traced back to the 1950s, when over 100 distilleries in Guiyang City merged to form the Guiyang Distillery, later renamed the "State-owned Guiyang Distillery." In 2016, the company was wholly acquired by Yanghe Distillery Co., Ltd., and was officially renamed Guizhou Guijiu Group Co., Ltd. in 2019. Since then, Yanghe has been committed to developing the “Soft Mellow Sauce Aroma” (绵柔酱香) series, positioning the brand as the “New Aristocrat of Sauce Aroma Baijiu,” with a strategic focus on the high-end sauce aroma market.
The brand inherits the traditional “12987” brewing technique from Maotai Town, which involves a full-year production cycle: 2 rounds of grain input, 9 cycles of steaming, 8 rounds of fermentation, and 7 extractions of liquor. This process strictly follows solid-state fermentation and high-temperature stacking. It utilizes premium water sourced from the Chishui River region and red sorghum of the same variety used in Maotai, ensuring top-tier standards in raw materials, production environment, and water quality.

Flaming Gui
Guizhou Guijiu 30ml, lychee liqueur 20ml, ginger beer 60ml, basil syrup 10ml, a drop of soy sauce (for flavor), dry ice or aromatic wood chips (optional, for visual smoke effect).
Add the Guijiu, lychee liqueur, and basil syrup into a shaker and shake well. Pour into a tall glass, then gently stir in the ginger beer. Add one drop of soy sauce to enhance flavor complexity. Optionally, add dry ice to create a smoky effect. Light aromatic wood chips (such as ambergris) to create a “flaming red” atmosphere.
赤焰贵花
贵州贵酒 30ml,荔枝利口酒 20ml,姜汁啤酒 60ml,罗勒糖浆(Basil Syrup) 10ml,一滴酱油(风味用),干冰 or 香薰木屑(选配,做视觉烟雾)
将贵酒、荔枝酒与罗勒糖浆加入雪克壶,摇匀。倒入长饮杯中,加入姜汁啤酒轻轻搅拌。滴入1滴酱油以增加风味层次。可加入干冰制造雾气感。点燃香薰木屑(如龙涎香),营造“赤焰”气氛。
