This small-batch expression represents the Sherry profile and features stock entrusted to Gordon & MacPhail from Miltonduff, then carefully matured for 10 years in the company’s own oak casks. The result reflects Gordon & MacPhail’s long-standing expertise in cask selection and maturation, presenting the character of Miltonduff through a rich and fruit-forward style shaped by Sherry-seasoned oak.
The aroma opens with chocolate and sticky orange marmalade, followed by stewed raisins and sweet baked apple, while freshly cut grass adds balance. On the palate, butter candies and roasted hazelnut lead into orange zest, cinnamon, and warming pepper, developing further into plum and fig jam. The long finish brings together chocolate and stewed fruit with lingering winter spices.
