Cragganmore 48 Year Old 1971 Prima & Ultima is a remarkable single-cask expression that preserves an important chapter in the Speyside distillery’s history. Drawn from the last cask produced at Cragganmore using coal-fired stills before the transition to oil-fired steam heating in 1972, this release comes from a single first-fill ex-Sherry butt and was matured for nearly five decades.
