Distilled from 100% Scottish Mainland Concerto barley, this release is peated to approximately 101.4 PPM, delivering Octomore’s signature intensity while allowing cask influence to play a central role. The whisky is matured for five years across a complex cask recipe that includes Oloroso sherry and Bordeaux wine casks, followed by finishing in Madeira and Portuguese Moscatel casks. This layered maturation brings sweetness, dried fruit, and floral richness to balance the powerful peat smoke.
