Product details
From the family-run house, this product comes an expression born of uncompromising vision: established in 1995, the company centres its craft on the belief that the cask determines character. Drawing on Barley heavily influenced by the windswept shores of Islay, and matured to ten years in oloroso-wine seasoned oak, it offers both breadth and individuality. No artificial colouring, no chill filtration—just a liquid that carries the full fingerprint of its vessel and provenance. The “Raw Cask” series embodies this purity: bottling straight from the vessel, with natural oils, sediments and textures intact, so each sip is as close as possible to the spirit of the original barrel.
On the nose you’ll find a rich interplay of peat-tinged earth and mature dried fruit—think dark fig and raisin weaving through mellow liquorice and gentle vegetal tones. On the palate the layers deepen into silky vanilla, toasted almond, and a velvety bed of cocoa and char. As the finish unfolds that same depth persists—warm, lingering, a touch brine-kissed with faint citrus peel weaving in at the end, before a graceful fade. It’s bold yet elegant, the kind of dram that invites slow sipping and thoughtful reflection.
