Product details
This is the distillery’s first "core" age-statement whisky. Unlike the anniversary edition, this follows the classic Ardnamurchan house style by blending peated and unpeated spirit.
-
ABV: 46.8%
-
Nose: More savory and coastal. Notes of oat biscuits, orange zest, and sea salt are wrapped in a very gentle, earthy "bonfire" smoke (think damp leaves on a fire).
-
Palate: Creamy and rich. It tastes of custard creams and vanilla, underpinned by a spicy pepper kick and a more pronounced smoky backbone compared to the nose.
-
Finish: Warming and maritime. The smoke lingers longer here, accompanied by a touch of strawberry laces and mineral salinity.
