Product details
- The Appearance: Crystal clear with a brilliant, watery clarity and subtle silver highlights.
- The Nose: Mildly aromatic, fresh, and highly inviting. It opens with delicate top notes of fleshy honeydew melon, green apple skin, and soft white peach, backed by a foundational layer of steamed sweet rice and a hint of white floral blossoms.
- The Palate: The entry is remarkably smooth and lightweight, showing a deceptive, silky texture. Because it is a Nama (unpasteurized) sake, it possesses an initial splash of youthful, bright sweetness and lively acidity. This juicy melon and soft rice candy sweetness is immediately trimmed back on the mid-palate by the traditional Honjozo brewing technique.
- The Finish: It snaps completely crisp, short, and bone-dry. The finish leaves a highly refreshing, clean sensation with zero heavy aftertaste, accented by a faint touch of mineral chalkiness.
