Created by renowned self-taught vintner Jason Woodbridge with the help of wine master Philippe Melka, Hundred Acre Deep Time Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the finest California wines in the world.
It’s full-bodied and round, with saturated tannins, tasty, spicy and long, with a dry, serious finish. It’s balsamic, with notes of camphor and a silky and velvety texture.
Opulent, broad, full-bodied and more mature than I expected given how this wine showed in its youth, this deep, rich Cabernet Sauvignon is exceptional. However, in this vintage it has to take a back seat to a number of other cuvees.
