Product details
Uccelliera Brunello di Montalcino 2019 originates from meticulously selected Sangiovese vines spanning approximately 10 hectares in Castelnuovo dell’Abate, in the southeastern part of Montalcino. The 2019 season began with mild winter temperatures and late-January rains, which slowed early vegetative growth. A temperate summer allowed the grapes to mature slowly and evenly. After collection, the grapes were chilled with dry ice to maintain freshness and guided through controlled fermentation, followed by an evolution period in Slavonian and French oak containers for at least 24 months, with an additional minimum of 6 months refinement in bottle. The result is a complex expression featuring rich mineral layers, ripe fruit character, and well-integrated structure, perfect for pairing with roasted meats, hearty pasta dishes, or aged cheeses.
