Product details
Ruby decadence in a glass. This wine introduces itself with opulent and savory aromas of sage, pepper, and forest floor, then regales with robust, deep flavors of dark fruit, wild cherry cobbler, and black licorice before ending in a long, satisfying finish. Whether making an appearance on your table or in your cellar, the 2015 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a showstopper.
In 1983, Tony and Herta Peju bought thirty acres of vines in the famed Rutherford district of the Napa Valley. Since then, the Peju family has maintained a meticulous focus on the vineyard, which has grown to include a proactive approach to sustainability and environmental consciousness. That longstanding commitment and respect for the grapes can be tasted with each sip of these balanced and elegant wines. Still family-owned and operated with daughters Lisa and Ariana poised to take the helm, Peju Winery has become an integral piece of the Napa Valley landscape.
Peju’s Rutherford Estate is home to thirty acres of vines that stretch from Highway 29 to the Napa River. With an emphasis placed on green farming initiatives, our H.B. Vineyard has achieved California Certified Organic status and is planted primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. The wine produced here is a classic representation of Rutherford, a historic appellation known for wines of great depth, complexity, and longevity.
