The Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask is matured in both American and European oak casks that were previously used to age sherry. It has received the coveted Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2017 and a Gold Medal & 95 points rating from the International Review of Spirits Tasting in 2017.

Creamy butterscotch, toffee apple, candied orange, vanilla custard, and newly felled oak.
Palate:
Wood spices (ginger and nutmeg), citrus, caramel, raisins and resinous.
Finish:
Oak lingers, warm, sweet and drying.
