Guizhou Xijiu 1988 is a popular sub-high-end product known for its high-quality, mellow, full-bodied, and delicate taste. This product is made from over 5 years of precious old liquors and is known as the "goalkeeper of high-end sauce liquor." In 1998, Xijiu officially joined the Moutai Group, combining its sophisticated sauce-flavor liquor production process with Moutai's traditional brewing technology. Maotai-flavor liquor, also known as Maoxiang type, is a type of liquor with a sauce flavor similar to beans during fermentation. Originating from the Moutai liquor process, it is elegant, delicate, and rich, with a long aftertaste. "A yearly cycle, two feedings, nine steaming sessions, eight fermentations, seven extractions." — On the path of upholding tradition while innovating, Xijiu 1988 insists on the artisanal craft of brewing using the traditional process of "12987," aiming to create the classic aroma and delicate smoothness of aged cellar liquor. Leveraging the unique natural advantages of the Chishui River basin in Guizhou, Xijiu 1988 strictly adheres to the "four highs and three longs" requirements, selecting high-quality glutinous sorghum for high-temperature fermentation, using wheat-based high-temperature koji as saccharification fermenter, employing traditional fermentation pits for distillation, and then meticulously selecting aged cellar liquor and premium base liquor from different years. After 7 rounds of extraction and blending, using the method of "blending with liquor," it is painstakingly crafted.

The resulting soy sauce liquor has a pure body, with a rich and full-bodied taste upon entry, sweet and refreshing, devoid of impurities. Moreover, it exudes a comfortable aroma of koji, aged aroma, and floral and fruity notes, with a lingering fragrance in the empty cup after drinking, leaving a long-lasting aftertaste. 2 oz Guizhou Xijiu, 0.5 oz Amaretto liqueur, 0.25 oz Orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or Triple Sec), 0.5 oz Fresh lemon juice, Dash of Angostura bitters, Orange twist for garnish
