This was phenomenal from barrel and remains so. The aromas are spellbinding. It smells like a bouquet of pink roses and then goes to currants, berries and citrus. Full body, with wonderfully refined tannins.
This Riesling Icewine has an abundance of vibrant aromatics including peach, pear, and lime. On the palate, notes of honey, apricot and mango are balanced by a crisp and lively acidity.
As for what’s within the gilded outer cage, the Cuvée Rosé since 1968 is made from 100% Pinot Noir which, through cold maceration, lends its distinctive pink hue and aromas of raspberry, strawberry and red cherry.
A lively, fruity and well-balanced Cognac with bright pops of cinnamon and cardamom winding into a long toffee finish. Light amber color, sweet and toasty vanilla and orange aromas.
