Clase Azul Tequila Día de Muertos 2026 Edición Limitada Trascender marks a new chapter in Clase Azul México’s annual Día de Muertos collection, following the conclusion of the Nuestros Recuerdos series. Curated by Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco, this limited-edition Añejo is composed of two mature expressions, each aged for more than 30 months: one finished in select casks previously used for wine intended for Champagne production, and another matured in American whiskey casks. The first contributes warm, buttery nuances influenced by extended contact with lees, while the second adds toasted character and depth. The handcrafted ceramic decanter is equally distinctive, featuring a gradient from deep blue to vibrant magenta, floral imagery inspired by Día de Muertos traditions, and 24-karat gold brushwork applied by Clase Azul artisans.
The aroma opens with pear compote, ripe apple, and peach, followed by layers of honey, sourdough bread, and toasted oak. On the palate, a silky and rounded texture brings together ripe pear, agave nectar, cacao nibs, and toasted walnut, with subtle acidity adding freshness and balance. The finish is long and warm, with delicate spice lingering on the palate.
