An absolute stunner for sipping neat. In fact, this was named the world’s best single malt at the 2022 World Whisky Awards. The nose reveals dried oranges, spiced plums, savory holiday spice and soft oak. On the rich and coating palate layers of flavor evolve with honey-toffee, plum, dried citrus, dark chocolate, sherried dark fruits and roasted nuts. The finish is long and chewy with darker fruits and spice slowly fading. Even at 104 proof this whisky drinks with balance and sophistication. This whisky sold out quickly after its win at the World Whisky Awards, but the last stocks were held back for their launch at Binny’s.
