Created in Mizukami, Japan, this special release reflects the meaning of its name, “Tokubetsu,” or “special,” honoring generations of knowledge and refinement. It is composed as a precise blend of 27-year-old (29%), 10-year-old (35%), and 7-year-old (36%) Ohishi Sherry Cask selections, carefully brought together to achieve balance, depth, and elegance. Often regarded as the crown jewel of the Ohishi house, this expression showcases patience, harmony, and a distinctly refined character shaped by time and tradition.
Visually, it presents a bright amber hue with golden highlights. The aroma opens with soft floral notes reminiscent of cherry blossoms, layered with ripe pear and apricot, followed by gentle touches of vanilla bean, honeyed sweetness, and subtle spice.
