Product details
Maestro Dobel Atelier Animales Endémicos Edition is a striking limited release that celebrates both Mexican heritage and artistic expression. As the third annual Atelier collection, it showcases the house’s dedication to craftsmanship through six individually hand-painted designs, each inspired by a native Mexican species such as the axolotl, jaguar, monarch butterfly, dwarf jay, Tamaulipas owl, and Mexican wolf. Drawing from the traditional decorative style used for Oaxacan alebrijes, every bottle becomes a vibrant canvas of bold colors and intricate dotted patterns, carefully finished by hand and individually numbered. This Extra Añejo expression reflects patience and precision, resting for more than three years in a combination of new American and European oak before being blended for depth, balance, and elegance, making it as compelling to admire as it is to enjoy.
The tasting experience unfolds with layered aromas that recall dried fruit, ripe pineapple, fresh apple, butter, prune, and a gentle hint of cinnamon. On the palate, rich notes of charred oak and toasted almond take the lead, joined by a complex array of warming spice accents that add dimension without overpowering. The texture is smooth and full, with flavors that develop gradually and conclude in a long, refined finish. Each bottle offers a distinctive sensory journey while remaining true to the collection’s unifying theme of harmony between nature, artistry, and time.
Please note that bottle artwork is selected at random after purchase, making every piece a unique collector’s highlight.
