Guizhou Moutai (Yisi Year of the Snake) is carefully selected from the core production area of Guizhou Moutai. Benefiting from the region’s unique natural environment, it is crafted using locally sourced premium glutinous sorghum, wheat, and water. Adhering to the rigorous traditional Daqu sauce-aroma (jiu) baijiu techniques, it undergoes five years of meticulous brewing, with no added fragrances or flavoring substances, presenting the pure, authentic aroma of sauce-style baijiu. Integrating zodiac culture, the philosophy of the Five Elements, and calligraphic and artistic expression, Guizhou Moutai (Yisi Year of the Snake) offers a rich, immersive cultural tasting experience imbued with historical depth and cultural resonance.

The 2025 Guizhou Moutai (Yisi Year of the Snake) continues the design philosophy of the Zodiac Series. Drawing inspiration from the Five Elements, where “Yi” corresponds to the element of “fire,” the main color tone is a deep crimson, symbolizing auspiciousness, good fortune, and elegance. The bottle is crafted from ceramic and topped with a golden cap embossed with the seal-script character “snake.” The gift box and bottle are adorned with the inscription Yisi Year of the Snake Zodiac Ode by renowned calligrapher Shen Wansheng and the painting The Auspicious Snake Emerges, the Wind Stills by esteemed artist Guo Ziliang, seamlessly blending the essence of Eastern calligraphy and ink painting.

The Moutai spirit is made from a mix of locally produced red sorghum (a small grain rich in tannins), wheat, and water. It is 100% organic, without the addition of any artificial additives. The distillate will be kept in big terracotta pots for at least 3 years, enabling the spirit to reach its 155 different aromatic substances, like the aromas of wheat, grain, hazelnut, roasted walnut, various fruits, mint, caramel, chocolate, floral and herbal aspects, and many more.

The Moutai spirit is manually cultivated following the lunar calendar, and the art of production is passed on from generation to generation. Every production cycle takes one year. From the selection of ingredients to the delivery of the finished product, the production cycle takes 5 years, passing through no less than 30 processes and 165 different procedures. Only brandy from the town of Cognac can be labeled Cognac, the same goes for Moutai, which can only be produced in Moutai town. Any attempts to replicate this unique baijiu elsewhere have failed. The environment and ancient methods have created an irreplaceable product!

30ml Moutai, 30ml Lycheé liqueur, 30ml Fiery Ginger Mixer, 20ml Basil Syrup, Topped with Soda Water, 2x drop of Soy Sauce

Combine Moutai, lychee liqueur, Fiery Ginger Mixer, and Basil Syrup in an ice-filled shaker and shake well. Strain into a tall glass over fresh ice, top with soda water, and add two drops of soy sauce. Gently stir before serving.

30毫升茅台,30毫升荔枝利口酒,30毫升辣姜混合饮料,20毫升罗勒糖浆,加入苏打水至满杯,滴入2滴酱油。

将茅台、荔枝利口酒、辣姜混合饮料和罗勒糖浆倒入装有冰块的摇壶,充分摇匀。过滤后倒入装有新冰块的高球杯,加入苏打水,并滴入两滴酱油。轻轻搅拌后即可享用。
