This edition diverges from Kilkerran’s usual subtle style, delivering an assertively peated character judged to be around 45 PPM, matured predominantly in ex-bourbon casks with a small proportion aged in sherry containers. The aromatic profile greets with creamy butterscotch and deep caramel, unfolding into notes of rye bread and subtle tea‐leaf tones on the nose.
