Ripe and nicely fresh aromas include those of pear and apple compote, citrus confit and spice nuances, all of which is enveloped in moderate wood influence. There is both fine volume and richness to the muscular big-bodied flavors that coat the mouth with dry extract that also serves to buffer the firm citrus-tinged acidity supporting the mineral-driven finale. This is lovely and should repay mid-term keeping.
