Tokugetsu Junmai Daiginjo was produced by Asahi-Shuzo, and it is a limited edition specially released for the Mid-Autumn Festival every September.
Inheriting the Autumn customs from their ancestors, Japanese enjoy drinking “moon-viewing sake”, which is their way of moon-viewing while drinking. It is also the origin of its name, “Tokugetsu''.
This sake is made with the most famous “Yuki no Sei” rice from Niigata, Japan. It was blended with 28% refined rice and their unique spring water in Asahi-Shuzo. This sake carries luxurious and light fruit aroma, with elegant and delicate taste on the palate.
