Product details
Korbel Brut is America's favorite Méthode Champenoise champagne. It is used to celebrate more weddings, anniversaries, and New Year's Eves than any other quality champagne.
Winemaker Notes
The art of blending is the key to the high quality and value of Korbel Brut. We blend multiple varieties from multiple appellations and even multiple years. Each grape variety and appellation that we use contributes a unique character to the final blend. The goal is to make a California champagne that consistently delivers the highest level of quality.
At Korbel, we strive to respect the character of the grapes we use to make our California Champagnes. We combine delicate whole cluster pressing, with cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks, and of course, the classic Méthode Champenoise bottle fermentation process.
As the last step, Korbel Brut California champagne receives a medium-dry level of dosage - just enough to balance the classic crisp acidity and make Korbel Brut the perfect match for all of life's celebrations.
Food Pairing
Korbel Brut is the perfect way to start an evening! Its crisp acidity pairs beautifully with appetizers such as cheese, oysters, caviar, smoked salmon, and fried or salty foods. It's delicious with all shellfish and sushi as well as egg dishes and roasted poultry. This classic brut is also wonderful on its own!
